Suzy, one of Alltrust’s Senior Benefits Specialists, is a 20 year veteran in the insurance industry, is originally from Ohio and currently resides in Clearwater. Suzy joined Alltrust in 2005 with an extensive background as a broker, account manager, and service specialist. As a Senior Benefits Specialist, Suzy oversees the entire client relationship.
A Little More About Suzy
Suzy is responsible for evaluating employee and employer needs for health insurance; handling all financial aspects of group health plans, including renewal negotiations, plan design, contribution strategy, etc.; conducting on-site enrollment meetings; reviewing employee benefit packages with new hires; providing ongoing educational meetings to employees with any benefit implementation, benefit changes, and enhancements; and conducting annual reviews of employee benefit package options within and outside of the current carrier.
When asked what her favorite aspect of working for Alltrust is, Suzy replied ” Working and helping people has always been what I enjoy doing most. I also love to learn about other industries through our clients and having conversations with interesting people.”
Suzy is highly involved in the community as well including being on the Board of Family Resources; Southeastern Guide Dogs; Associate Board of Moffitt Cancer Center; Associate Board of Morton Plant Hospital; Contributor to Isaiah’s Inn; SPCA of Sarasota; Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota County; Goodwill Ambassador; All Children’s Foundation; and member of SAMA Manufacturing Association.
In her spare time, Suzy enjoys boating, entertaining, and watching the wildlife of Florida. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years at local restaurants in the Clearwater area.
