Carla Cook is one of Alltrust’s Account Manager. She is originally from Boston and is our resident “fitness guru.” Joining Alltrust in 2006, Carla has over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry including working with a major insurance carrier in customer service, health services, benefit administration, and provider contracting fields. As a Client Advocacy Manager for Alltrust, Carla spends the majority of her days doing exactly what her title says, being a personal advocate for our clients and their employees as it pertains to billing, claims, carrier education and more.
A Little More About Carla
Carla handles complex billing issues and questions, provides education and training on internet services available with corresponding insurance carriers, handles employee and/or employer issues with applicable insurance carriers, processes renewal changes and paperwork to generate replacement ID cards, and follows up with clients to ensure applicable deadlines are being met for any changes.
Carla is also a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), Florida Association of Health Underwriters (FAHU), and is currently in the process of acquiring her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.
Carla says the greatest thing about working at here is “Alltrust is good to me and all of our employees, working for those that would do absolutely anything for us is a great feeling.”
Outside of Alltrust, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband Harold and their children; Harold IV and Camden. She also enjoys taking family vacations, working out, and spreading her fitness enthusiasm and energy to others.
